In the context of the opening of the new Turin headquarters of Gallerie d'Italia, we have designed an app dedicated to the museum. In addition to typical information, schedules, calendars of exhibitions and events, this allows you to interact with some aspects of the visiting experience: orienting yourself within the museum itinerary, obtaining information related to the works by scanning qr-code and enjoying special audiovisual content. The most engaging interaction can be carried out in the room adjacent to the large space where the Publifoto archive is kept and digitized; there is a large installation: an impressive videowall from which it is possible to view the photos from the archive that are gradually digitized and entered into the database. Through the app, a wider interaction is possible with this intervention: by placing the smartphone on one of the special columns, you can in fact save and keep some of your favorite shots.
