Tasked by Toshiba to design an installation for the promotion of its Qosmio laptop, this installation is an interactive synesthetic tool, designed for the performance of visual audio compositions in real time. Laptops are used as elements of a single object, designed ad hoc, distributed in regular files, referring to the formation of an orchestral group. Custom software is installed on each of them, which activates sounds and visual forms based on the colors of the spectrum. Each laptop has its own sound and its own instructions for building a shape. By interacting from the conductor's podium, touching thin metal stems, individual laptops can be activated and deactivated, allowing an infinite number of different compositions to be generated.
