This installation consists of four volumes, corresponding to the four keywords of BlackBerry communication, and is proposed as a spatial declination of “always on”, the permanent network connection, the main characteristic of the device. During the days of presenting the installation, some Blackberry-equipped assistants ask visitors and bystanders to compose emails related to one of the keywords. Inside the cubes, four software interventions transform the text of the emails received into graphic processing, some software keyframes are visible on the prints next to the monitors. On the opposite side, four BlackBerrys also receive emails in real time, signaling the event through the lighting, sound and vibrations emitted upon receiving the messages, amplified by the vibration of the wooden walls of the installation.
