This installation is comprised of a glass mirror, which reflects both in a physical and virtual way.
Standing in front of the mirror, an image gets physically reflected in it; then a graphically modified image softly appears as a second level of reality, a sort of interpretation of the real image.
Three types of visualization software are running into the mirror. They are all based on the same concept, that is real time superimposition of different ways to represent a scene:
• the mere reflection in the mirror
• the image captured by the camera and graphically modified as an outline
• a ten seconds loop of the graphical modification
The installation explores the present at different reading levels, including a continuous flow from present to past.
This piece of work is wirelessly connected to the internet: lightly touching
the small metal disc in the center of the mirror, the current image
on the screen is grabbed and uploaded on a specific url on the internet.

Fondamentalmente si tratta di uno specchio che riflette sia in modo fisico che virtuale.
Posizionandosi di fronte ad esso la propria immagine è riflessa dal vetro specchiato, al di sotto di questo appare una seconda immagine come un secondo livello di realtà dove l'immagine, sebbene graficamente modificata, è comunque una rappresentazione della scena reale.
All'interno dell'istallazione si alterano tre differenti visualizzazioni software. Tutte e tre vertono sul concetto di sovrapposizione contemporanea di tre livelli di lettura della scena che si svolge in tempo reale:
• l'immagine reale riflessa dallo specchio
• la stessa scena rilevata dalla telecamera ed elaborata graficamente
• la ripetizione in loop degli ultimi secondi della scena
L'installazione esplora il presente a diversi gradi di lettura, compreso un flusso continuo fra presente e passato.
Attraverso il collegamento ad internet via wireless dell'installazione, toccando il disco metallico posizionato al centro dello specchio, l'immagine corrente viene congelata e depositata su uno specifico indirizzo internet.
The motherboard is exploited as a precious object, laying down on an african bended wood background under the sheet of transparent glass.
Motherboard's cables have been manually replaced with the black monochromatic ones. The anchor plate for motherboard and hard drive, and the back case have been custom designed and manufactured from brushed stainless steel.
